Application Process

What to expect during an application process.

  • If you found a vacancy on our website that fits your career ambition, please submit your resume and cover letter or email us at recruitment@curoil.com.
  • Once we have received your application, your resume and cover letter will be reviewed. We appreciate your patience as this process can take a few weeks. If you qualify for the job, you will be contacted for an interview.
  • Depending on the position you are applying for, the process may include 2 or 3 interviews. Some positions may require an additional assessment.
  • If selected, you will be offered a contract. An integrity test and a medical examination are also part of the selection process.

Onboarding

Once you have accepted the offer, the results of your integrity test and medical examination are satisfactory and the contract has been signed, you will be enrolled in the onboarding program for new employees. The goal is to get you acquainted as soon as possible with your new role, the team and the organization. In the first two to three weeks after your start, we will provide you with in-depth information about the company’s the vision, mission, strategic goals and key developments. In addition, you will visit our different locations, learn about our operations, processes, corporate culture and get to meet the team of people that makes it all happen.

Internship Programs

Join us as an intern, develop your professional skills and get an inside look into the dynamics of an ever-changing and constantly evolving industry.

An internship at Curoil, is a perfect opportunity to develop your skills, start building your own network and learn about the different aspects of business. We offer internship posts to students from secondary vocational education (MBO), and professional and research oriented higher education (HBO and WO), by either working within one of our departments or by conducting research for their graduation project.

There is a range of career possibilities within our organization. So, when applying for an internship clearly specify the nature of your project and the expected outcome. Generally, an internship program at Curoil lasts on average between 3 to 6 months. However, this may vary depending on the project of the candidate. A mentor will be assigned to guide you through a successful completion of the internship.

A well written resume and a well conducted interview can get you a head start during an application process. Here are a few key tips from our Curoil recruiters:

Resume tips

  1. Clearly outline how your skills and experience meet those requested in the job description. Demonstrate why you are the perfect candidate!
  2. List your job roles and accentuate the key responsibilities you had for each job role.
  3. Include and emphasize relevant goals and results achieved, as well as career accomplishments.
  4. Scrutinize the spelling and grammar in your cover letter and resume closely and use a professional, easy to read font.

Interview tips

Very important to remember is that an interview is a two-way process. The interview is also an opportunity for you to understand and assess if the position and the organization are what you are looking for. Below we share a few tips with you on how you can prepare for an interview with Curoil.

  • Remember, it is not always about a right or wrong answer. We look at the way you approach the question, the structure of your answer and your ability to demonstrate relevant examples of past professional problem-solving including key learnings.
  • Look for information that will help you understand Curoil better, for example its goals, vision and mission. Prepare your selling points. Think about the reasons why you are the best candidate for the position. Emphasize your competencies and qualifications and prepare some examples that demonstrate them.
  • Listen and ask questions. Prepare the questions you would like to ask in advance.
  • Make sure you look representative and professional. That first impression should be a great one!
  • Make sure you have a positive body language. Give firm handshakes, make eye contact, smile and most importantly: be yourself!
