As the exclusive supplier of fuel on the islands of Curaçao and Bonaire, Curoil plays a crucial role in providing energy access for economic development, but also feels a deep responsibility to ‘fuel’ social progress on the islands. Social responsibility is front and center on our corporate agenda as we believe that the only way to contribute to social progress is to be part of the solution. Therefore, we make it a priority to invest in long-term development and social wellbeing of the communities in which we operate.
We support our local communities through donations or sponsorships in the areas of education, sports, arts & culture, nature & environment, and social welfare. Some local youth initiatives we are proud to support are the talented SUBT youth soccer club, the youth traffic park and the Brionplein children’s playground in Curaçao. In addition, as part of our social commitment, we encourage our employees to engage in volunteer work organized or sponsored by our company or to get involved with other local social initiatives and make a difference in our communities.
